If you are planning a trip to the Serengeti National Park, you have come to the right place. A team of Glasgow University students in collaboration with a research group in Tanzania are developing an Android application that will make your trip much more exciting!
You can be a researcher too!
The application will help you track down different animals in the park and find out interesting facts about them. In addition to that, you will be able to share the location of the animals with other people and at the end of the trip you will be able to see a detailed view of your safari! What will I find here?
This website has some of the features the mobile application has. You can check out the map page where you will discover the latest location of the animals and will be able to investigate their migration over time. You can also switch on additional information layers, such as NDVI and recent fire data from NASA, as they will give you a better insight about local fauna. We also provide information about animals and an ability to download Serengeti Animal Tracker for free!
