Duiker image. A medium-sized duiker with long limbs, grizzled gray to rich chestnut with paler under parts; males having upright horns. Grey Duikers have a dark facial blaze, head crest and feet, being most abundant in savanna and woodland offering sufficient cover. Their diet is formed of foliage, herbs and fruits, but they are also known to eat invertebrates and small vertebrates. Being active by day and night, they get more nocturnal when hunted. They are solitary, but can also be seen in pairs, with territorial males often seen on vantage points guarding their property. These duikers can only be seen north of Serengeti N.P.
