Hyrax (Bush)This animal has the same appearance as a Rock Hyrax, but it is smaller, gas a shorter snout and is gray to gray-brown with white under parts and soft fur. It shares not only the same habitat with the Rock Hyrax, but often the same group of rocks. Bush Hyraxes are browsers, climbing into trees and bushes to eat foliage. Their colonies consist of one territorial male and his harem, the male call being a thin, high-pitched mewing. Hyraxes are the closest living relatives of elephants.
