Lesser Flamingo

Lesser Flamingo image. There are two Flamingo species along the rift valley of Kenya and Tanzania which visit Serengeti, of which the Lesser Flamingo is the more common. Living and traveling in large groups, reaching several thousand on Lake Natron and the lake in Empakaii Crater, Flamingoes can be seen in the soda lakes of Serengeti at Magadi and Ndutu where they use their curiously bend bill to feed on microscopic organisms in the water and mud.
