Wild DogA medium-sized dog with a black, white and tan coat, a typical black facial pattern and a white tail tip, emitting a strong smell. Frequenting woodlands and savannas, Wild Dogs are diurnal cooperative hunters, feeding mainly on medium-sized antelopes like Thomson´s Gazelle, but also taking other prey, being one of the most exclusively carnivorous hunters. The packs consist of a breeding pair and nonbreeding adults, with the males staying in the family pack and the females emigrating. The pack members are very unaggressive to each other, not being territorial, but having a large home range.
